Job Description RESPONSIBLE TO:       Sales Manager (D&J) LOCATION:                   Hong Kong   JOB PURPOSE: To support sales team and to coordinate sales-related activities PRINCIPAL DUTIES: To respond quickly and efficiently to all in-coming sales enquiries by telephone, fax and email; assist to prepare quotation as required. To follow up all enquiries, preparing proposals where necessary. Work closely with Managers and subcontractors to build and execute operation plans for various Logistics Projects, includes local and overseas trade shows. Up-keep of clients’ database – updating where necessary to allow accurate billing also effective promotions. Working closely with customer service and operation department to ensure continues of customer relation standard and to maintain high service level. Produce and distribute ad hoc data, information and reports as required SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION: 3 - 5 years experience in a customer service and/or operation role an advantage. Experience in international movements of goods, freight forwarding, airside/ shipping operations and/or import/ export operations and customs, and/or Diamond and Jewellery industry an advantage Effective communication skills, including presentations and proposals The ability to work in a fast moving environment. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team Experienced at working under pressure using own initiative Well organised and the ability to manage multiple projects/deliverables concurrently. Excellent client relationship skills Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese IT literate, particularly Microsoft Office excel/database.
