Company details We utilize glancing angle deposition (GLAD) to generate plasmonic nanospirals (Nanoscale 2014, 6: 9401) and nanoparticles having hidden chirality (Small 2016, DOI: 10.1002/smll.201601505), which exhibit intrinsic chiroptical activity in the UV-visible region. Chiroptical activity characterized by electronic circular dichroism is studied as a function of the helicity and with interaction of molecules, which is understood by means of numerical finite element method (Nanotechnology 2016, 27: 115703) and analytical LC circuit model (Nanoscale 2016, 8: 4504; RSC Adv. 2016, 6: 84348). Chiral nanoplasmons can be used for circular polarization (Nanoscale 2016, 8: 4504), photocatalytic enantioselection, chirality transfer, enhanced enantiomer differentiation (Sci. Adv. Today 2016, 2: 25250). Chiral nanoplasmonic flexible thin films exhibit excellent mechanic stability of chiroptical activity (RSC Adv. 2016, 6: 84348)
